Make it clear: This is a TAPhouse, not a brewpub. They brew coffee, not suds! Fr- iendly and quick service, off-set by some VERY expensive mediocre food. I began with a green salad. It consisted of lettuce, a couple of tomato wedges, and two slices of cucumber. This humble mix was immediately ruined, by a combo of white pepper, and poor lighting. Not being told it was white pepper, and not being able to see said pepper upon said humble salad, I proceeded to 'spice' my greens for about 90 seconds. My mistake was learned, upon my first bite, when I about projected a tomato wedge into my dining pal's Coca-Cola. Next... I ordered the 'wild game' sausage pizza. The pizza was pretty decent, the sausage was not. This wild game must have done some hard living. As it sank into my bowel later, I realized this was going to be harder to pass, than a Chinese math test. I digress... Overall, the highlight was the waitress. Cute, perky, and sweet. If she had only warned me about the leather roadkill...ah, sausage I mean! In the end, the name 'Cripple Creek' became revelation: The place is handicapped by white pepper and Racoon sausage. When the bill comes, you fill up their creek without a paddle.

This place seems to have a problem with my friends and I stopping in to drink beer when we don't order a lot of food. We don't go there anymore.

This is a relaxing after work place. Or Saturday afternoon snack/meal and a beer place. Always plenty of beer to choose from and served with a friendly smile.

It's a tap house and not a brewpub. They don't brew anything. They do have a nice selection of draught beers.
